Buyer's beware! I purchased a warranty from Olive, and when I filed a claim for transmission replacement, it got denied. I had it diagnosed by a local mechanic. They rejected it because they said it didn't have enough evidence, so I brought it to an actual Ford dealership, which I paid out of pocket to have it diagnosed and got denied again, saying it is not good enough. What a waste of time and money for a company that doesn't even stand by their warranty. I mean, what more do you want?!?! An actual Ford dealer even said I need a new transmission.

I think this company was a joke,because my car was 2010 and they charge a hefty price for plans people on retirement or social security cant even afford car repairs to keep thier cars running and car shield does not and will not cover cars that old and with existing problems that needs repairs, car shield leaves them out of thier plans and i called twice hung up on me oh interesting that is how they are with people, they work with celebrities and famous people, i.found out about that and heard thats why they charge higher amount for car warranty on vehicles over $100 a month we americans are not that rich or wealthy should know that its ridiculous, i don't recommend this to anyone on retirement or disability or social security period.

While I am an employee at olive, I am also a customer. We bought my son a 2012 Toyota 4Runner with over 100,000 miles and the comprehensive coverage warranty from olive only cost me about $60/month. I highly recommend purchasing your extended warranty through Olive if you’re in the market. Not only is it easy to purchase, but the customer service is outstanding. Contract is easy to understand, and the best part about it, you can take your vehicle just about anywhere! I’ve dealt with Alex if your purchasing in California and he’s been great. I purchased a used vehicle in April and found that most extended warranty companies say their “nationwide”, then come to find out they don’t even service California. 🤨 I’m VERY happy I found Olive. Acura OEM warranty

Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) warranties are included in your Acura purchase and they usually cover items under the hood like the engine and transmission wear and replacement along with internal components and electrical. However, each car manufacturer offers a different set of coverages.

As to Acura, New Vehicle Limited Warranty, Four Years, 50,000 miles, whichever comes first.

In addition, Acura owners receive Powertrain Warranty of Six years, 70,000 miles whichever comes first.
Seat Belt Limited Warranty, Fifteen Years or 150,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Rust Perforation Limited Warranty, Five Years no mileage limit

Acura History

Acura, the premier division of Honda was founded in 1986. Originally launched in the US and Canada, Acura was the first Japanese luxury brand of vehicles to launch. Acura is headquartered out of Minato, Japan. The flagship sedan model launched in the mid 80’s was the Acura Legend. The Legend was in production from 1985 – 1995. Acura also launched the compact class Integra model. Honda opened an additional 60 new dealerships to sell Acura. Acura had immediate success in the premium market. So much so that both Toyota and Nissan decided to launch new divisions to follow suit. Toyota founded their Lexus division later that same year in 1986. Nissan created the Infiniti division in 1989.

By 1990, Acura launched its first rear wheel drive sports car. The NSX, which stands for New Sports eXperimental. The NSX featured Honda’s VTEC technology. This performance system allowed higher performance at high RPM and a lower fuel consumption at low RPM. The invention came from Honda engineer, Ikuo Kajitani. In the 90’s Acura shifted the naming system and dropped the Legend, Vigor and Integra names to switch to an alphanumeric system. Something they have continued to this day.

Acura has taken a youthful outlook with their vehicles design and innovation. Acura says that they are 30 years young. It doesn’t mean they aren’t pushing the limits but rather they want to keep their start up culture and hustle. Over the years, they continue to hold the bar high introducing several systems to the car industry. Acura was the first to offer an In-Dash Navigation system. Acura was the first to use a Multi Valve Engines across the entire lineup. In the MDX, Acura was the first 7-seater crossover vehicle. Last, Acura was the first to secure a 5-Star rating across the entire set of their models. Their future goal is to create a zero- collision society. Acura’s focus is to continue to develop driver assisted technology in future models to make safer vehicles for all.
